Job Purpose | Manager Digital and IT - IMRES (Netherlands)
In this challenging position you will manage the network, infrastructure, applications, processes, IT team members and other department resources that provide ICT support service. You will ensure the optimal functioning of IT thus contributing to operational effectiveness, client / customer satisfaction, reduced risk and compliance to relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities and activities:
Digital and IT:
• Ensure the optimal day-to-day running of the Imres IT department
• Ensure the business network and application uptime through managing the team and/or business partners responsible
• Align Imres ICT architecture to the Imperial Logistics strategy and architecture
• Support / partake in group led initiatives
• Record business requirements for IT solutions. Advise, design, validate and report on solutions aimed at improving the IT ecosystem
• Execute the business strategy towards the modernization of the IT ecosystem and building a data driven business
• Analyse and report performance and risks to both Imres and Imperial
• Resolve escalated network incidents and requests
• Establish and manage the relationship with service providers and suppliers
• Monitors delivery teams' SLA compliance to client, quality of service and efficiencies
• Risk mitigation: Ensure DR plans are in the place and tested accordingly
Finance:
• Manage ICT Budget
Customer engagement:
• Analyse relevant business intelligence to identify, justify and drive, continuous improvement initiatives for clients / customers (Internal / External)
People:
• Manage the performance, training, and development of employees
• Recruit, develop & maintain employees
• Apply or initiate corrective and/or supportive action when required for employees you supervise
• Complete own training successfully as per an agreed personal development plan (PDP)
Your profile
• Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree and /or advanced diplomas
• At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a comparable Digitization & Information role, inclusive of management experience
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written fluently). Dutch is an advantage, but not a must
• Good communication skills, being able to adjust language to the audience / stakeholders
