Your position:
As the senior warehouse manager you will be managing and coordinating all warehouse activities, kitting production and running of facilities. You will be reporting to the logistics and digital director.
What are you going to do?
• Manage the processes, teams and resources accountable for accurate warehousing of stock and management contributing to operational effectiveness, client / customer satisfaction, reduced risk, profitability and compliance to relevant policies and regulatory requirements
• To coordinate and control the quality of the work activities of a team in various warehouse processes according to operational plans and targets contributing to managerial decision-making
• Coordinating and directing the employees of the warehouse department with regard to the preparation of orders, i.e. order picking and order processing
• Drive conformance to SOP’s and operational excellence within the teams & facilities
• Coordinate & collaborate with Import and Export teams in order to ensure priorities are aligned and the flow of documentation and information is done timeously
• Ensure warehouse operates within given GDP framework and other requirements as set out by QA/QC
• Responsible for the proper execution and coordination of the Keep Cool, Narcotics and Dangerous Goods procedures regarding incoming, outgoing and stored goods
• Managing and coordinating the kitting production including the planning of production & raw materials, packing of kits, labelling, storing of kits, creating the BGF for the produced kits,
• Responsible for the purchasing of packaging, cartons, kitting material for the entire warehouse
Responsibilities
• Managing the department teams and their related tasks
• Management of all storage locations, execution of bulk orders and kitting production
• Product owner for the WMS system and ensure compliance to system practices
• The ability to understand financial and economic concepts and principles; to identify, create and/or exploit opportunities, and improve the viability of a business
What qualities do you hold?
• Relevant work experience (8 to 10 years) in warehouse management and kitting production in a healthcare environment
• The ability to explore, identify, learn and implement new and creative ways to improve processes, products, services, practices, customer value, organizational effectiveness and culture
• MBO / HBO work and thinking level
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, strong organizational and planning skills;
• Excellent communication skills and the clear ability to foster effective and collaborative relationships within the team and across all departments;
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience is a strong advantage
• Familiar with customs procedure - Course Employee Safe Airfreight
• Safety courses: Lifting, Forklift, Dangerous goods; Airfreight and/or Sea freight
